There are many famous singer and other vocal artists from East & West Punjab.Some of them are listed below.


1. Amrinder Gill 
                Amrinder Gill Born and raised in village Boorchand Amritsar in Punjab. Amrinder Gill has become a firm favorite with the new generation of Punjabi music fans with his laid back style, up-market video and catchy Punjabi pop tracks, while having a hold over Desi lovers with his range of emotional songs.


2. Geeta Zaildar
                    Geeta Zaildar is world famous Punjabi Singer. Geeta Zaildar entered into the Punjabi music world with his banging album called Shartan. He sings in folk Punjabi style with the world music.


3. Jassi Sidhu 
               Jassi Sidhu born in  Birmingham, West Midlands, England.He  is a Bhangra singer and the former lead singer of British Asian bhangra band B21. He split from the group, declaring that they would "never, ever reconcile"and that "(B21 was) nothing more than a glorified mime act", quoting differences between himself and Bally Jagpal.


4. Babbu Maan
              Babbu Maan born Tejinder Singh Maan on March 18. He is a Punjabi singer-songwriter, actor, and producer. Born in the village of Khant Maanpur in the Fatehgarh Sahib District of Punjab, India. Babbu Maan has been very fond of playing music since his childhood, singing on stage for the first time during a school function in his village school at the age of seven. He would see everything through the eyes of a musician, even turning cooking pans into musical instruments as he created rhythmic sounds. He learned how to write lyrics, while at school (Punjab University, Chandigarh) when he was about 16. After college, he started singing and composing music. He is one of the few singers who writes his own lyrics for all of his songs.


5. Gippy Grewal 
                     Gippy Grewal is one of the best recent Punjabi singers. The real name of Gippy Grewal is Rupinder Singh Grewal. He was born in village Koom Kallan, Ludhiana, Punjab on January 2, 1982. Gippy Grewal blows things off with some phat beats, traditional lyrics, and his Desi voice. Gippy Grewal is a singer who transcends stereotype; the musical tastes that are reflected in his music know no boundaries or succumb to any genre.


6. Mika Singh
                  Amrik Singh born  on June 10, 1977, in Durgapur, West Bengal known by his stage name Mika is an Indian Pop singer and Rapper. He is considered a highly acclaimed Punjabi singer. He has done songs for many Bollywood films, which include Singh Is Kinng and Jab We Met. His range as a playback singer is limited, but commercially he is successful with hit songs. The latest is "Aapka kya hoga" from the film Housefull. He has participated in reality show called Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao and Music Ka Maha Muqabala.


7. Miss Pooja 
                   Miss Pooja  was born on 4 December 1980 as Gurinder Kaur Kainth. Before she came embarking on her professional singing career, she received a Master's degree in music and worked as a music teacher in Patel Public School in Rajpura, India. She chose Miss Pooja as her professional name because "Pooja" was her childhood nickname.
She is widely regarded as having revived Punjabi duet songs. During the late 1980s to the early 21st century, Punjabi duet songs were often given second place by DJs. However, Miss Pooja's duets often get played at the top of the party. She has become the largest-selling female bhangra artist in India and overseas.


8. Daler Mehndi                               
                      Daler Mehndi  born August 18, 1967, is an Indian Bhangra pop singer.
Mehndi was a student of traditional Punjabi music and his first album broke sales records in India. Since 1995 he has recorded several highly successful albums in India, and also sung as a playback singer for several Hindi movies. His international popularity has grown in recent years allowing him to tour the United States.Mehndi is also well known as a philanthropist, funding beautification projects in Delhi and aiding earthquake victims.
